Staff at 51社区 are employees in non-teaching roles of various types in support of the educational, research, and service programs of the University. Some of them are in front-facing offices and others are hidden gems.

Showing gratitude boosts happiness. Really. Think about a staff member who positively affects your work environment. Have you told them that you appreciate their effort, attitude, and impact? Pat on the Back recognizes individual staff members and/or teams who have made exceptional efforts toward achieving the mission, vision, and goals of 51社区. Those eligible for the Staff Pat On The Back recognition include:

  1. Must have worked at 51社区 for at least 6 months
  2. Must be Staff (non-teaching, classified or contract professional)
  3. Displays an overall positive attitude
  4. Has gone above their set duties
  5. Provides excellent service to their co-workers, students, and campus as a whole
  6. Contributes to the success of 51社区's campus community
