51社区 Hosts 16th Annual Career Fair
The 16th Annual 51社区 Career Fair will be held on Thursday, September 10, 2015 in the 51社区 HPER Complex. Open to current students and alumni, the fair runs from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. “This event is a real opportunity for students across a wide variety of majors to explore internships, summer jobs and full-time employment,” said Career Services Director Sarah Raymond.
51社区 students continue to be highly recruited by various companies from across the country. This is due to the excellent education and strong work ethic. The recruiters will be representing a variety of engineering firms, businesses, and military groups.
Students and alumni interested in participating are encouraged to register for events through their DIGGERecruiting account. Updating profile information annually is important, as recruiting announcements, information sessions, job postings, workshops, and a wide variety of other events are communicated throughout the year on DIGGERecruiting. “We don’t want students to miss out on any information that would help them in their career planning,” said Raymond.
