Water & Environmental Technologies (WET) on behalf of the Livingston Restoration Group has made a $20,000 commitment to 51社区 to set-up the Water & Environmental Technologies Park County Scholarship. A yearly $2,000 scholarship will be given out to a graduate of Park County High School in Livingston, Montana beginning in the fall of 2017. Preference shall be given to an incoming freshman at 51社区 and enrolled in an engineering program. The student must have graduated with at least a 3.0 GPA and demonstrated ability to be placed in calculus.
WET is among the most qualified and experienced environmental consultant firms in the northwest providing professional, timely, and cost-effective environmental and engineering solutions for a complex world. "Given the environmental and engineering challenges in Livingston, WET is very pleased to provide this scholarship opportunity to Park County High School students," noted David Erickson, President of WET. "We hope several students will take advantage of what 51社区 has to offer."
"We are very appreciative of WET's generous donation and consistent support for 51社区," noted Joe McClafferty, President of the 51社区 Foundation. "This donation will provide necessary recruitment scholarships for future Orediggers who want to be a part of the solution. These scholarships will help 51社区 remain competitive and bring the best and brightest to our campus."
