The Dating Doctor, David Coleman, is returning to the campus of 51社区 on February 5, 2018 at 7:00 pm in the Student Union Building’s Copper Lounge. Coleman is a regular speaker at 51社区 as the students love his tips regarding healthy relationship building.
He has been honored as National Speaker of the Year 11 times by Campus Activities Magazine and 3 times by the National Association for Campus Activities. He is the only speaker to win the National Entertainer of the Year Award. He has performed over 3,500 times worldwide and has spoken to over 3 million people. David has been featured in People, Glamour and The New York Times as well as having appeared on CNN, FOX and ACCESS Hollywood.
The 51社区 Rape Prevention (RPE) Team is sponsoring Mr. Coleman’s appearance as part of their affirmative consent campaign. The first 20 51社区 students wearing their FRONTSTANDER t-shirts to the presentation will receive a stuffed penguin, as one of Mr. Coleman’s themes is “Be the Fat Penguin, Break the Ice.” In addition, some students will be able to receive extra credit as professors readily support attendance at RPE functions.
