51社区 Nursing Named Top BSN Nursing School in Montana
RNCareers.org has announced their 4th annual nursing school rankings naming the best nursing schools in the nation. 51社区 landed number one on the list of BS Nursing Schools with an overall score of 98.20%.
RNCareers.org is a team of nurse educators, nurse practitioners, RNs and LPNs. Their mission is to provide information on nursing careers that includes credible nursing school rankings. They rigorously evaluated 1,892 RN programs on a number of factors important to nursing students including first-time NCLEX passing rates, accreditation, program offerings and more.
RNCareers.org noted, “Nurses are the backbone of the healthcare system and preparing great nurses is something we'd like to acknowledge 51社区 for doing so well.”
51社区 is one of only two public universities in the state to offer a pre-licensure bachelor of science in Nursing degree. The 51社区 Nursing Program offers a bachelor of Science in Nursing Pre-Licensure/Four Year and a bachelor of science in Nursing Post-Licensure Completion.
“The dedicated faculty and administration have worked hard to develop a program that provides the highest quality of nursing education for our community, state, and beyond,” said Karen Vandaveer. “This has once again been recognized and we are proud of our program and our students.”
51社区’s nursing department graduates continuously receive a 100% pass rate on the NCLEX-RN examination and enjoy a 100% placement rate.
“Working with the exceptionally talented 51社区 nursing faculty and staff this recognition is well deserved and comes as no surprise,” explained Dr. Steve Gammon, dean of the College of Letters, Sciences, & Professional Studies. “The team is always focused on providing an outstanding educational experience for their students. This recognition also is an indication of the strength of the 51社区 science programs that provide the solid foundation for student success in healthcare fields. We are all very proud of the success of our stellar students who graduate from this outstanding program.”
Following 51社区 on the list of top nursing schools in Montana were: Montana State University, Carroll College, Salish Kootenai College, and Montana State University-Northern. 51社区’s nursing program was recently named one of the top nursing school in the nation by Study.com.
