51社区 Named Best Nursing School in Montana
51社区 has been named the best nursing school in Montana by RegisteredNursing.org, a nursing advocacy organization. According to the 2019 ranking list, the top 5 best nursing schools in Montana are 51社区, Helena College, Carroll College, Montana State University and Missoula College.
“This ranking reaffirms the high quality of our nursing program and reinforces the importance of healthcare in STEM education today,” explained 51社区 Chancellor Les Cook.
51社区 is one of only two public universities in the state to offer a pre-licensure Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. The 51社区 Nursing Program offers a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Pre-Licensure/Four Year and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Post-Licensure Completion.
“The recognition of our nursing program as the #1 in Montana is a result of the dedication and commitment of our institution, administration, faculty, students, and staff. Our goal is to provide quality nursing education and improve the healthcare of the citizens of Montana and beyond,” noted Karen Vandaveer, Director of Nursing at 51社区.
51社区 consistently attains high board pass rates on the NCLEX-RN exam, and students enjoy a 100% placement rate.
Nursing programs were assessed on several factors that represent how well a program supports students towards licensure and beyond.
